Introduction.

Sooner or later, successfully developing company faces the challenge of keeping a stock of goods in warehouses of the big square. In most cases it becomes necessary the use of racks placed in rows, number of floors which canvary on request. Suppose that for the storage of goods, you must put 10 rackson 5 floors and 40 cells on each floor. The result is 2000 storage cells. When placinga range of goods in 1000 positions, an average of 1 item will occupy position 2 storage cells. Therefore, the task of finding the necessary goods at the warehouse without address storage system becomes impossible. To help you solve this problem you need to address storage system in stock.

Task.

To develop IT solutions to address storage system in the warehouse, which provide the following benefits:

  • optimization of placement of goods in stock, release of the additional storage volume;
  • reduction of number of employees of the warehouse, reducing the wage bill;

  • increase staff productivity, reducing the time for assembly and acceptance of goods;

  • an exception of human factor, minimizing time for staff training;

  • reduction and optimization of warehouse operations, which leads to a reduction of production costs;

  • reduction in the number of claims fr om buyers, resulting in improved customer service;

  • reduce accounting errors, the acceleration of the processes associated with the routine maintenance jobs by location (inventory and other things).

It should be noted that in order to increase the effectiveness of your solution, it must include not only accounting and control system.

Solution.

Thanks to the flexible platform for implementing IT solutions address storage system in stock based on the company's product was selected 1 c.

The following configuration blocks have been developed:

  • storage structure management;

  • create tasks on placement, selection and supplying of goods;

  • formation of periodic maintenance tasks, such as offline defragmentation, and inventory;

  • block reporting.

Describe each block separately. To control the structure of store is a master at Figure 1.

It allows you to create the necessary number of racks with an arbitrary number of floors and cells on length. Each cell is assigned a type and area. The type determines the maximum weight or volume of the goods that are allowed to be placed in a cell. And there are two types of areas: hot and cold. The hot zone is used for the manual selection of the goods (usually the first two floors), and cold zone for selection using stacker trucks (higher floors). The paging zone will in future apply different tariffs for the remuneration of staff. The functionality also allows you to block cell division, per team, block product in store on all cells, where it is stored. These operations are available and fr om documents-tasks described below (for example, if it's inventory).

After you create the layouts shelving, storage structure is as follows of Figure 2. On the diagram you can see fullness cells racks, where the proportion of the volume occupied by the goods designated digit in range from 0.00 to 1.00 in the cell. The red color cell hot zone, the blue color painted cold. Enhanced cell are surrounded by thick line.

To create tasks for placement, selection and movement of goods created paper presented in Figure 3. Document interface allows you to visually assess employment: shelving, locate of goods in a warehouse, control the remaining goods in any cell in the store, and, most importantly, automatically distribute goods in the (as for hosting, and for product selection).

Routine periodic tasks, such as offline defragmentation, and inventory the system as required with the use of special masters. In Figure 4 is an example of "Inventory", which can be carried out on the store racks, on the floor, for the selected item in the inventory periods have expired.

To control the frequency and the need for inventories is created the report “The inventory in the store”, Figure 5. In the diagram the warmer colors painted cells on which the inventory was held recently, indicating the date of its adoption. Analyzing the above example you can see that on the first two floors of the warehouse operator, initiates a recalculation of the goods more often than on the upper floors. Perhaps this is due to the fact that on the upper tiers are stored whole pallets with a small assortment of goods and a rare appeal to them. Therefore, frequent inventory is not needed, in contrast to the lower decks, where the active selection of goods, and are incomplete pallets and crates.

With the accumulation of statistics for a specific period of time, you can generate a report of references to the cells. An example of one month of warehouse operation is shown in Figure 6. By adhering to a common style, with frequent reference to them are painted in a warm color. From the analysis of the temperature chart can be concluded about the correctness of the system as a whole, because its logic based algorithms for minimizing the number of accesses to the top tiers of shelving, and shows the diagram of Figure 6.

How is without block reporting? The solution enables you to generate reports in various sections on the movement and availability of goods in cells for period, and compared them with the remnants of the primary accounting system, Figure 7.

Conclusions.

Experience has shown that after the implementation of IT solutions, managed to achieve the following results:

  • release of storage volume to 30%;

  • reduction of warehouse staff by half;

  • increase staff productivity, reducing the time for Assembly and goods receipt at times;

  • reduction in the number of claims from buyers on average up to 10 when 5000 orders per month, representing 0.2%;

  • and of course, all of the items of the task, that it is impossible to describe numeric indicators.
